The Egidio Borroz bivouac is a strategic starting point for the "route of the lakes" and for hikes to the Tersiva and Glacier mountains. The surrounding area offers spectacular views and opportunities for hiking, mountain biking and ski mountaineering.
One of the most popular hikes in the area is to Lake Lavodilec, located a short distance from the Borroz Bivouac. This lake offers breathtaking autumn views and the possibility of staying overnight at the Borroz Bivouac, which is described as very beautiful and superbly equipped.
