Artinitis

Artinite is a monoclinic carbonate, consisting of very fine white needles.
It is a hydrothermal mineral and is found in fractures in serpentine rocks.
It is a highly sought-after mineral of scientific and collectable interest.

In the Aosta Valley, it has been found in Montjovet, Emarèse and Cogne. Class: Carbonates
