Mont Paglietta, from Prailles

Introduction

Short but very beautiful hike through a sparse larch forest to be done in powder snow. It is possible, if necessary, to descend to Etroubles on the return journey.

Description

Rescend the beautiful slopes in the direction of a hut. Continue along open slopes to the left until you reach a cross-country road. Cross it and continue through the beautiful larch forest. When the upper slopes are visible, go to a small col on the right and continue on the exposed north-eastern slope of the ridge. Continue along it to the summit.
