Access
From the motorway, exit Aosta East, direction Gran San Bernardo, diversions to Valpelline, Ollomont, Bionaz and then Place Moulin Dam, park at the side of the dam (convenient parking).
Description
From the Place Moulin dam (1968m) reach the Prarayer hut (2005m) by taking the long road (6km) that follows the course of the lake. From the hut, continue along the valley, cross the bridge that leads first to the Deré la Vieille pastures, then to the Bella Tza pastures. Turn right in a south-easterly direction to enter the glacier des dames. if in good condition, assess a gully on the right that leads onto the glacier. Follow it in the middle until about 3000m and passing to the right or left, depending on the conditions, of the obvious rocky islet, reach the pass. turn right briefly for the peak, which is easily reached on foot. ring the bell at the peak.
