Rifugio Palmieri on the Croda da Lago, from Pian del Pantan

Description

Path 437 descends a few metres to cross the small bridge over the Ru Curto. Steep and slightly uphill sections alternate in the forest. At the Cason de Formin the path takes path no. 434 (to the right path no. 435 leads into the Val Formin and to the Lastoni di Formin under the north face of the Croda da Lago). Path no. 434 from Cason continues to the hut. At the highest point (2075 m) the path descends gently to Lake Fedèra and the hut. Return along the same route or descend to Lago Pianozes near Cortina d'Ampezzo.
