Angelo Bosi Major Refuge at Monte Piana

Introduction

The partly asphalted military road, now closed to traffic even for cyclists, begins at the shuttle parking area. After a few kilometres the path turns left. I prefer the road even though the shuttles disturb it a little. The first part is in the forest, then the vegetation ceases and the sun beats down. In the hut, there is a museum about Maggiore Bosi and the First World War. Monte Piana is a historical site of the First World War.
