Alpe Vicania and San Grato Park

Description

Leisurely hike to take Elia, Ivan, Alice and Alessia (in a wheelchair) for a walk. We set off from the Carona swimming pools at 11:00 a.m., arriving at Alpe Vicania at 12:40 p.m., following the T1 path that runs all around Mount Arbostora. Picnic break under a splendid beech tree, then at 14:00 off to the San Grato park, where we arrive at 15:00, hoping that its beautiful azaleas are in bloom. Unfortunately, despite the advanced spring, most of them have yet to open. We stop at the children's playground, ice cream at the little restaurant with a view of the Gulf of Lugano, and at 16:00 we are back at the car park.
