Introduction

A village in the middle Valle d'Aosta, located 547 m above sea level, slightly off the main road to Aosta and the Nus motorway exit.

Description

This is probably why it has retained the characteristics of a rural village, surrounded by orchards, chestnut groves and meadows, despite its relatively large size (around 1600 inhabitants). It is dominated by the famous castle built by Aymone di Challant towards the end of the 14th century and a must-see for any tourist interested in the vestiges of the past.
