Daniele, Alex and Ali have arrived at Camp 4, at 7200 metres. Tonight, at 2:00 local time, they will set off from C4 with the strong conviction that they will reach the summit of Nanga Parbat (8126 m). If the weather is clement Daniele, Alex and Ali will reach their dream between 12:00 and 14:00 tomorrow (local time).
"Today was a tough but very beautiful day," said Daniele as soon as he arrived at Camp 4. Throughout the entire climb, the wind was kind and we were able to reach Camp 4 at 7200 metres. It was not to be taken for granted that we could easily climb the route".
.Tomorrow is expected to be good weather with light winds, which could favour the feat of Daniele, Alex and Ali. It would be the first time in history that mountaineers have managed to reach the summit of Nanga Parbat in the winter season. It will take about 12 hours of climbing to get from the 7200 metres of C4 to the 8126 metres of the summit. Bad weather is expected to return on Saturday and Sunday. The team will have to be very fast on the ascent and the immediate descent.
Muhammad, who accompanied them up to Camp 3, is descending to Base Camp as planned.
